Matt was recently interviewed by Gerri Detweiler of TalkCreditRadio.com about the benefits and joys of making your own natural cleaning products.

Because we’re in Michigan mourning the loss of Betsy’s amazing grandfather, we’ll forgo publishing an article and just share this podcast with you.

Hopefully the podcast will inspire you to start making things yourself, or if you already do, to create a few new products.

I have been making and using the laundry detergent, toothpaste, airfresheners and deodorant for the past 7mos since I became unemployed and I absolutely love it. I have begun to stock up on my essential oils because I have also been making these for friends( word of mouth is truly effective adverisement).I am not only saving tons of money but I am truly getting so much joy out of making these products for others to help them save money.

Betsy, I am so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my prayers.

Enjoyed hearing the podcast! I am now about two weeks in with your website. I’ve downloaded the book on my iPad and begun buying the supplies. I have essential oils on the way and made the toothpaste night before last with the baking soda, salt, water and peppermint extract. Yum! I LOVE how clean my mouth feels. I’ve only used Tom’s toothpaste for many years, but guess I’m done with that now!

I’ve also made my laundry soap for almost two years using your exact recipe. I guess someone found your site and passed it on to my sister-in-law, who passed it to me.

I am having trouble not becoming obsessed! :)

So sorry to hear of your loss.
Love that I found your website. Been using several of the recipes for over a month now and love them. My favorite thing is that I know I’m not exposing my family to the toxic chemicals of commercial cleaners anymore. The cost savings is a big bonus. I’m adding new recipes all the time and am excited to try the personal care recipes soon. Thanks for sharing all your work with us.
