Coffee Ground Soap Recipe

Having trouble getting onion and garlic smell off your hands? This odor-eliminating coffee ground soap recipe does that and smells just like a cup of coffee!

  1. Cut soap into small pieces and place in a glass pyrex measuring cup
  2. Place glass measuring cup in a small saucepan of water on low heat
  3. Allow soap to melt gently, stirring gently every so often
  4. Take soap off the heat once fully melted and measure in coarsely ground coffee
  5. Allow to cool slightly, then measure in 60 drops of essential oil.
  6. Stir well to combine
  7. Coat mason jar lids/rings in a thin layer of coconut oil and set on a paper towel or kitchen towel
  8. Place whole coffee beans in lids
  9. Pour soap mixture into mason jar lids/rings (or soap molds if using)
  10. Allow it to cool until hardened
  11. Push mason jar lids from the rings
  12. Allow soap to dry for 12-24 hours
