Blemish Stick Acne

This blemish stick will fit in your purse and help you treat acne and pimples on the go. We have included recipes for a solid stick and a roll-on version.

I may be 55, past menopause (thank goodness!), but I still get pimples on occasion. While keeping your skin clean and healthy is one thing, pimples are another. They just seem to pop up anywhere at any time. And when you’re younger, they can come with monthly regularity. Now you can fight them naturally.

Blemish Stick for Pimples and Acne

The blemish stick will fit in your purse and help you treat acne and pimples on the go. We have included recipes for a solid stick and a roll-on version.

Blemish Stick Acne

Solid Blemish Stick

Servings
2 lip balm tubes

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Melt the shea and kokum butter together in a double boiler.
  2. When melted, add the essential oil and mix well.
  3. Pour into the lip balm tubes. This will make 1-2 tubes. Store in a cool place.

Notes

The kokum butter is very hard and will help to keep your blemish stick from melting. If you can't get a hold of kokum butter, you can add a very small amount of beeswax. Too much beeswax can clog your pores, making pimples worse.

Roll On Blemish Stick

Prep Time
7 days
Mixing Time
5 minutes
Servings
3 Tablespoons

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients together and pour into the bottles.
  2. Secure the roller ball tops and place the cover on.
  3. Shake well. You can carry this in your purse or pocket.
  4. Apply your roll-on blemish stick whenever you see or feel a pimple.

Notes

To infuse the green tea into the vinegar, place 10-12 Tablespoons of green tea leaves into a jar. Cover with apple cider vinegar. Shake and leave in the sun for a week or so. Shake daily. After a week, strain the tea leaves out of the vinegar. Use this for the roller ball recipe. Store the remainder in a dark, cool place.

Essential Oil Options

Different essential oils can do different things. Most have some antibacterial properties, while some have significantly more. For this blemish stick, you can use them alone or in combination with more than one essential oil.

Any and all of these make great choices for helping your blemish stick banish pimples. The vinegar can help dry the bacteria that helps in producing pimples¹ and the witch hazel can help as an anti-inflammatory agent. The green tea is an antioxidant that can aid in healing.

Treating pimples can be very easy with a blemish stick! Why not try these recipes today?
